Starting your own business is a task some see as unachievable. Some ask why should I? Others ask, can I do It? What if I fail? Who will buy my products or employ my Services? But we should know that there are a million and one persons out there that needs your products or services.

Here are 6 reasons why you should start your own business

* Be Your Own boss: This enables you to manage your time effectively. No more leaving early in the morning and hurrying to work in other to beat traffic, answering queries, being under unnecessary pressure, and the list goes on. You are now a master of your own destiny. You make the decisions, call the shots, and decide what you earn. Best of all you don't have to make the agonising choice of time for family and time for work.

* Make more money: Since you run your business, you can decide how much you want to make. You can achieve this by putting in more effort, knowing your customers, consistency. There is a greater opportunity to make money by working for yourself than working for someone else. You can write your own history, success story, your own legacy and most importantly your own paycheck. You have the opportunity to showcase  your talent and be appreciated for that.

* Be famous: you might be shocked by this point, but yes you can be famous by running your own business. For example we have Banke Meshida-Lawal of BM pro, Tara of House of tara and the likes. If they where working in some company as an employee they could not have been felt. Today they have succeeded in building there own brands and empowering others.

* A second career: you can decide to start your own business because you want to make extra income. There is nothing wrong with this decision at all. As long as your are able to manage your time effectively.

* Job security:  Now you are your own boss, you call the shots. You avoid the risks of being affected by downsizing, restructuring  and reorganisation of companies.

* Be fulfilled: You build something that is your own. That gives you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
